Position Purpose

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for governing and maintaining Lindt product master and business partner data, including customer and vendor master data, within various systems such as Devex, SAP, and One World Sync. This role is responsible for maintaining master data to support production and manufacturing activities and supports the Master Data Manager in developing, maintaining, and enforcing master data governance standards, processes, and business rules.

This is a hybrid role that requires three days per week in our Stratham, NH corporate office.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Policy Setting and Governance

  • Develop, maintain, enforce master data standards and governance controls to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Ensure the team adheres to GS1 standards for item setup and product changes.
  • Lead execution of product change projects. Impose standard operating procedures with cross-functional teams and ensure systems and bill of materials are set up to allow for a seamless transition.
  • Interface and drive process improvements for product master data with other departments to ensure consistency and integrity of data.

Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with functional leaders, IT stakeholders, and process teams to identify system errors, troubleshoot integration challenges, and eliminate duplicate data. Drive root cause analysis and recommend end-to-end process improvements that enhance data quality, operational efficiency, and governance compliance.
  • Support the master data role through system integrations and upgrades (One Sync, SAP, etc.) Ensure requirements and processes support the established master data governance and controls.
  • Deliver testing support for new system enhancements and integrations with a high degree of quality.

Communication

  • Initiate and promote open and clear communication channels with cross-functional team members and/or stakeholders to establish and maintain a realistic understanding of product master data requirements.
  • Drive adoption of data governance processes by conducting periodic trainings and workshops and provide recommendations using industry best practices.
  • Communicate and network between cross-functional teams to understand new business requirements and the impact on product master data processes and governance.
  • Track item setup progress. Identify priority items, raise potential risks and work with cross functional teams to expedite completion

Qualifications & Requirements

Skills & Knowledge

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a Food / CPG environment is a plus
  • General understanding of new product development and standard costing
  • General understanding of GS1 and industry master data standards
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Mathematical skills
  • Ability to learn internal software systems/processes
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and internal client service orientation

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Total Rewards

Compensation Range: $67,238 - $87,409

Lindt USA’s salary range reflects market rates based on our size, revenue, and location. Starting pay is determined using a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience as well as market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
