Train, evaluate, and deploy ML-based scene understanding, behavior prediction, and planning models
Design and execute high-value experiments based on collaborative input from other ML engineers
Prototype and implement metrics to evaluate behavioral model performance across scenarios and robotaxi capabilities
Release major model updates with analysis of off-line and on-road evaluation data
Stay current with industry trends and propose new architectures based on published literature
Maintain high-quality training and evaluation codebase, including dataset generation and evaluation

In-depth understanding of common Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms
Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks for motion planning, object detection, sensor fusion, motion prediction, or multi-object tracking
Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles including design, source control, build processes, code reviews, and testing
Experience with PyTorch or other Python-based deep learning frameworks
Experience working with large datasets and deriving insights
Experience mentoring and collaborating with others
Masters or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field
