Currently, MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Power Platform Software Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Solution Development: Designs and develops Canvas Apps, Power Automate Cloud Flows, and Power BI reports tailored to customer requirements.
  • Power Apps (Canvas Apps) Development: Designs and builds highly responsive, professional Canvas Apps with a strong focus on intuitive UI/UX design, ensuring seamless user adoption, accessibility, and optimal performance within DoD constraints.
  • Process Automation: Architects and implements complex Power Automate Cloud Flows to modernize manual workflows, heavily utilizing standard connectors and Dataverse for Teams to optimize licensing costs.
  • Power BI Report Creation: Engineers dynamic Power BI reports and dashboards that transform complex data sets into clear, actionable visual insights, enabling data-driven decision-making for leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Data Modeling & Schema Design: Analyzes and maps existing legacy data for integration and designs new relational data schemas from the ground up, ensuring optimized and scalable data structures within SharePoint, Dataverse for Teams, or standard Dataverse.
  • DoD Compliance & Governance: Navigates the specific limitations and security postures of DoD GCC/GCC-High environments, ensuring all solutions meet strict federal compliance standards.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Debugs complex flow logic, UI/UX issues in Canvas apps, and data relational issues.
  • Deployment Operations: Manages the release lifecycle of low-code solutions and ensures all deliverables meet production schedules and technical design requirements.
  • Development Ownership: Acts as a technical resource and lead technical delivery for small-to-medium-sized projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provides live product demonstrations to stakeholders and influences client satisfaction through high-quality deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
  • Experience building relational data models using SharePoint, Dataverse for Teams, or standard Dataverse.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform licensing models, specifically knowing how to architect solutions that minimize premium connector dependencies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Power Platform Applied Skills
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications
  • Experience supporting Department of the Air Force, DoD, or other federal agencies within GCC/GCC-High tenants.
  • Experience working in an Agile team
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or other programing languages

Security Clearance Requirements

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
