We are looking for a short term user-experienced designer who can quickly integrate into our team, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality work. You’ll lead design initiatives in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and developers.

- Apply modern UI/UX patterns while designing experiences that are appropriate and engaging for young users.
- Take a mobile-first approach to designing responsive web and mobile experiences.
- Ensure designs follow our established design system and contribute improvements when appropriate.
- Incorporate accessibility and inclusive-design best practices, including WCAG guidelines.

- Clearly communicate how research and insights have influenced the design direction.
- Collaboration
- Partner with internal and external development teams to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and implemented as intended.
- Collaborate across product, research, design, engineering, and marketing.
- Lead projects in a fast-paced environment, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
- Present design concepts and explain decisions clearly to audiences with varying levels of design and technical knowledge.
- Manage feedback constructively while maintaining a clear point of view and responsibility for the overall user experience.
- Contribute positively to the broader design culture and product goals.
About You
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end project ownership.
- Proven ability to independently lead design projects and become productive quickly within an existing team.

- A strong foundation in UX principles, information architecture, interaction design, and responsive web and mobile design.
- Experience interpreting research findings and product data to inform design decisions.
- Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines and a commitment to inclusive design.
- Awareness of current design trends and the judgment to apply them in ways that serve the user and product.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to solving design challenges.
- A basic understanding of front-end technologies - HTML and CSS.
