Position Title

Senior Manager – Data Engineering Location

1900 Camden Ave., Suite 66, San Jose, CA 95124 Position Responsibilities: Architect and lead the development of scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. Design end-to end data architecture including data lakes, data vaults, semantic layers, and real-time/ batch ETL pipelines to ensure robust, secure, and reliable data infrastructure. Mentor and manage a high-performing team of data engineers, architects, and designers by providing technical leadership, guidance on best practices, and growth opportunities through code reviews, architectural planning, and hands-on support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, product managers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and data security standards, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Drive the adoption of modern data engineering. Lead the evaluation and implementation of cloud-native technologies to modernize legacy systems and support digital transformation initiatives. Enable self-service analytics and business intelligence by architecting curated and governed data products and semantic models. Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization of cloud-based data infrastructure and analytics workloads. Contribute to the enterprise data strategy, roadmaps, and platform modernization by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Engineering (any), or related field, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of

Azure Databricks; Azure Synapse Analytics; Azure SQL DB; Snowflake; SAP DataSphere; Python; Teradata; Power BI; SAP BOBJ, and; Predictive Modelling. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. approximately 30%, as required.
