About the role
- Collaboration Services Lead is responsible for the end-to-end ownership, governance, and operational management of the organisation's enterprise telephony service, comprising Cisco Webex Calling integrated with Microsoft Teams.
- This role acts as the Service Owner for the telephony platform, ensuring service reliability, performance, security, continuous improvement, and alignment with business requirements. The position also manages the relationship with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), vendors, and internal technology teams to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective communication service.
- A strong understanding of network infrastructure
About you
- 5+ years' experience in enterprise telephony, unified communications, or collaboration technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Webex Calling.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams telephony integration.
- Strong experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), including Virtual CUBE (vCUBE)
- Strong knowledge of SIP, PSTN, Direct Routing, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and cloud telephony technologies.
- Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, WAN, SD-WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience troubleshooting voice quality issues, call routing, latency, jitter, packet loss, and telephony service incidents.
- Experience managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs), carriers, and telecommunications vendors.
- Knowledge of ITIL service management processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management
