Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of network solutions
Develop specifications for cloud network security architecture
Implement and maintain cloud network security architecture
Perform and manage network design upgrades
Reconfigure hardware in a hybrid environment
Diagnose and resolve routing and interconnectivity issues
Ensure availability, reliability, integrity, and efficiency of systems
Design, develop, install, and maintain software solutions for Cloud Operations
Refine deployment and release processes with engineering teams
Collaborate with engineering teams on reliability, performance, and efficiency
Assist product engineers in development and deployment of backend applications
Explain work, decisions, and ideas to colleagues
Participate in 24x7 operational support and on-call rotation
Ensure all system design and procedures are documented
Create centralized knowledge base for team members
Contribute to the upkeep of documentation
Provide training and education on infrastructure and internal tooling
Provide audit and control to security personnel
Monitor systems for tuning and capacity planning
Automate detection and resolution of recurring issues
Build the whole stack from load balancers to databases
Ensure safety, predictability, repeatability, and auditability of build/deploy processes
Provide technical leadership to other departments
Develop, coach, and mentor individuals and teams
Build tools and automation to eliminate repetitive tasks
Prevent incident occurrence

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in computer engineering, computer science, engineering or information systems management
Experience with AWS Cloud
Experience with Linux or UNIX software and systems
Proficient in Java, Python, or C scripting
Experience with Terraform
Experience with Agile
Experience with SaaS
Experience with PSQL
Experience with Cloud Architecture
Experience with Javascript software and systems
Comfortable with automation scripting and debugging
Natural collaboration skills
An eye on continuous improvement
Fluent in scalability and root cause analysis exercises
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
Obtain CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance
