Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and scale system resources
  • Lead a team with a long-term vision
  • Develop highly resilient and scalable products/services
  • Follow standardized software engineering processes
  • Produce quality code with good test coverage
  • Use modern abstractions/frameworks
  • Complete medium/large scale projects
  • Use analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Mentor & motivate junior software engineers & interns
  • Provide suggestions for future projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Proficiency in technologies like React.js, Node.js, Python, JS, React Native, PHP
  • Skilled at computational problem solving, designing, coding, debugging
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
  • 4 hour overlap with U.S. time zones

Preferred

  • Skilled in complex code bases, large systems, & version control systems like Git
  • Updated on emerging technologies & able to design roadmaps to enhance current systems
  • Experience with multi-platform support (Windows, iOS, Linux, Android, Mac)
  • Excellent command over algorithms, data structures, and space-time complexity
  • A profound sense of ownership & accountability for end-to-end project lifecycle
  • Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers
