Job Description

We are seeking early‑career Application Developers to join small, collaborative project teams responsible for building and enhancing back‑office applications for a corporate customer. This role is ideal for candidates who are motivated to grow their technical skills, contribute to real production systems, and work closely with senior developers and project leads in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal business applications.
  • Learn and work within existing codebases, contributing incremental features and improvements.
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and team discussions to support project goals.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support bug‑fixing activities.
  • Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Follow established software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and coding standards.
  • Prepare basic documentation, reports, and test results as part of development tasks.• These responsibilities align with common expectations for junior developers, such as assisting with coding, attending team meetings, and monitoring system performance

This position is for a proposal effort. We are expecting an award date at or around May 2026.

Required Skills and Education

  • 0–3 years of experience in software or application development.
  • Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, or similar).
  • Understanding of web technologies such as HTML/CSS and basic scripting practices, consistent with typical junior developer skill sets B.
  • Ability to work effectively in small project teams and communicate clearly with technical peers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and must reside within the Continental United States for remote work eligibility.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to databases (SQL or NoSQL) and API‑driven development.
  • Interest in learning modern frameworks, cloud services, or automation tools.
