Fullstack Developer - AI Product (Node.JS, Python, React)

TransPerfect is a global leader in language, content, and technology solutions. We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to drive the development of AudienceAI, an internal marketing and business development tool. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who combines solid technical execution with product thinking and a clear understanding of user needs. You will work closely with product, marketing, and technology stakeholders to turn business requirements and user feedback into secure, scalable, and intuitive product experiences.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and Maintain AudienceAI
• Design, build, test, and maintain features across the front end, back end, APIs, databases, and supporting infrastructure.
• Take technical ownership of the application, including its architecture, integrations, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Translate product requirements and user needs into practical technical solutions.
• Make sound technical decisions that balance delivery speed, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Monitor application performance, reliability, and security, resolving issues proactively.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party services, APIs, data sources, and AI technologies where they create meaningful product value.
• Maintain clear technical documentation to support development, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to Product Direction
• Work with product and business stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, and delivery priorities.
• Help convert user feedback, usage data, and internal ideas into clearly scoped product improvements.
• Challenge requirements constructively when a simpler or more valuable solution is available.
• Maintain a strong focus on usability and customer outcomes.
• Provide clear updates on progress, trade-offs, and delivery risks.
• Collaborate Across Teams
• Work with other engineering teams to ensure AudienceAI operates effectively within the wider TransPerfect technology environment.
• Contribute engineering support to selected Translations.com initiatives where required.

Who We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development, including full-stack work on production applications.
• Strong front-end experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong back-end experience with Node.js or Python.
• Experience designing and building APIs, service integrations, authentication flows, and data-driven applications.
• Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases and data modelling.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
• Ability to turn incomplete or evolving business requirements into clearly defined technical work.
• Hands-on experience using AI in day-to-day engineering work, particularly AI coding tools and spec-driven development — turning specifications into working software with AI agents (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, GitHub Spec Kit).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Agile or iterative product-development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI-enabled applications or integrating large language models, RAG, or generative AI APIs.
• Understanding of responsible AI considerations, including data handling, hallucination risk, and human oversight.
• Experience contributing to product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and release planning.
• Experience building analytics, marketing technology, content technology, or enterprise SaaS products.
