[Remote] Lead Data Engineer

The company is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to drive the evolution of a modern cloud-based data platform, lead complex data engineering initiatives, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and build scalable solutions supporting healthcare analytics programs and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable ELT pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data solutions handling complex healthcare data sets
• Lead architecture and modernization efforts, helping transition and optimize enterprise data platforms for scalability, performance, and reliability
• Drive data quality initiatives through automated validation, monitoring, profiling, and observability frameworks
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers while establishing best practices across data engineering
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex data challenges and deliver impactful solutions

Skills

• 100% Remote (U.S. Based)
• U.S. Citizens & Green Card Holders Only
• 10+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with SQL and Python
• Experience building and managing large-scale ELT/ETL pipelines
• Expertise with modern data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Astronomer, Dagster, dbt, or similar
• Experience leading architecture decisions, technical direction, and engineering teams
• Healthcare data experience is required , including working with:
