Project Manager

Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects within the approved scope, budget and schedule.

Project Manager must allocate resources, coordinate with Konecranes partners and vendors to ensure all activities are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. The role involves managing stakeholders, communicating project progress and addressing risks and issues that may impact outcomes. Monitor costs, timelines and performance to ensure project objectives are achieved successfully.

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager with minimum 5 years of experience to lead projects from order management to deliveries for EOT cranes, jib cranes, monorail hoists, light lifting, CTO & ETO cranes. This position oversees end-to-end execution of projects ensuring they are completed on schedule within budget and in line with business objectives. The ideal candidate should possess experience as Project Manager or a similar role in the UAE and Middle East market with a strong understanding of regional industry practices, contractual requirements and applicable local engineering, quality and safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills to drive high-performing teams and achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Booking and managing orders in SAP, iLM , releasing internal orders and continuous monitoring.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely project completion, handover and closure.
• Lead project handover and organize kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from order receipt to execution.
• Develop project schedules, execution plans, budgets and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review and coordinate the preparation, approval and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Work Method Statements in compliance with project specifications, quality standards and customer requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts on schedule, cost, quality and safety.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to facilitate detailed engineering activities and support project execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing communications related to approvals, project schedules, milestones and delivery plans.
• Coordinate with commercial teams and clients on Account Receivables (AR), Advance Bank Guarantees (ABG) and Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG).
• Utilize SAP and ERP systems for project tracking, reporting and operational coordination.
• Collaborate with site teams to align project schedules, mobilize resources and ensure timely project execution.
• Ensure quality assurance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle and that all activities comply with organizational, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project status reports and milestone updates to customers and key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and operational performance.

Competencies and skills, we expect for this role

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management within the UAE and Middle East holding a valid UAE driving license or equivalent regional driving license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) with working knowledge of SAP and Project management tools
• Ability to read, interpret and review technical drawings and engineering documents with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively toward shared objectives.
• Results-oriented and driven to achieve targets and project goals.
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn, develop and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and competing priorities.
