Responsibilities

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production and internally identified application defects
  • Develop enhancements and implement bug fixes for enterprise applications
  • Migrate legacy technologies to current frameworks and architectures
  • Participate in infrastructure setup and migration activities supporting Azure Cloud adoption
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including story grooming and sprint planning
  • Assist in defining and refining acceptance criteria for development stories
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of modernization objectives

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing Java-based enterprise applications
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting production systems
  • Knowledge of Java 8, JSP, JavaScript, and web application development
  • Experience working with Oracle databases and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with GitLab
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred

  • Experience with Apache Struts modernization projects
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud migration initiatives
  • Experience with Spring Boot and modern Java frameworks
  • Familiarity with Angular and modern front-end technologies
  • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with NoSQL database technologies
