AI Product Engineer

Role overview

As an AI Product Engineer at Sekai, you will build and ship user-facing features end-to-end for a platform used by millions. You'll leverage an AI-native workflow—using tools like Cursor and Claude to write up to 95% of your code—to rapidly iterate on interactive consumer experiences alongside a team of veteran social-media builders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement user-facing features end-to-end, leveraging Next.js and Python within an AI-first development workflow.
• Work directly with founders and product owners to translate creative concepts into playable, AI-generated mini-apps for the Sekai platform.
• Maintain and optimize production systems serving millions of users, applying strong judgment to balance speed and stability.

Experience and qualifications

• Full-stack capability with Next.js and Python, plus experience shipping features at a fast-moving startup or consumer-social company.
• Deeply AI-native approach to engineering, with demonstrated experience using agent workflows and LLMs to accelerate development.
• High ownership mindset and a passion for building delightful user experiences that bridge the gap between AI and interactive content.
