Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product and technology roadmap
- Lead modernization of legacy applications and platforms
- Drive migration to cloud-native architectures and modern development frameworks
- Lead the evolution of a modern, cloud-native product
- Own the technical roadmap, including architecture, security, reliability, scalability, performance, and technical debt reduction
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, technical decision-making, and engineering coaching
- Leverage AI-powered development and testing tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and speed of delivery
- Establish and measure outcomes using productivity and engineering KPIs
- Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of customer commitments and product releases
- Drive operational excellence through robust incident management, root cause analysis, observability, and continuous improvement practices
- Champion modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and cloud automation
- Build, lead, coach, and develop engineering managers and engineers
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
- Manage internal teams, contractors, and strategic technology partners
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and security standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading engineering managers and software development teams
- Proven experience delivering and operating enterprise-scale software products in cloud environments
- Deep experience modernizing legacy applications, monolithic systems, and on-premise platforms into cloud-native architectures
- Strong expertise in Azure, .NET, C#, Angular, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture patterns
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
- Demonstrated success leading Agile software development organizations using Scrum or related methodologies
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering, application security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience implementing and measuring engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics, productivity KPIs, and operational metrics
- Deep understanding of AI-assisted software development and quality engineering tools
- Familiarity with Agentic AI platforms and practical applications of AI within enterprise software products
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
- Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Payment Integrity, Payer, Claims, or Healthcare Financial Technology
- Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams
- Experience delivering SaaS and multi-tenant cloud platforms
- Experience managing products operating in highly regulated industries
- Experience with Databricks, Power BI, and modern data platforms
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
