Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product and technology roadmap
  • Lead modernization of legacy applications and platforms
  • Drive migration to cloud-native architectures and modern development frameworks
  • Lead the evolution of a modern, cloud-native product
  • Own the technical roadmap, including architecture, security, reliability, scalability, performance, and technical debt reduction
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, technical decision-making, and engineering coaching
  • Leverage AI-powered development and testing tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and speed of delivery
  • Establish and measure outcomes using productivity and engineering KPIs
  • Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of customer commitments and product releases
  • Drive operational excellence through robust incident management, root cause analysis, observability, and continuous improvement practices
  • Champion modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and cloud automation
  • Build, lead, coach, and develop engineering managers and engineers
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Manage internal teams, contractors, and strategic technology partners
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and security standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years leading engineering managers and software development teams
  • Proven experience delivering and operating enterprise-scale software products in cloud environments
  • Deep experience modernizing legacy applications, monolithic systems, and on-premise platforms into cloud-native architectures
  • Strong expertise in Azure, .NET, C#, Angular, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software architecture patterns
  • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
  • Demonstrated success leading Agile software development organizations using Scrum or related methodologies
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering, application security, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience implementing and measuring engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics, productivity KPIs, and operational metrics
  • Deep understanding of AI-assisted software development and quality engineering tools
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI platforms and practical applications of AI within enterprise software products
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

  • Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Payment Integrity, Payer, Claims, or Healthcare Financial Technology
  • Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams
  • Experience delivering SaaS and multi-tenant cloud platforms
  • Experience managing products operating in highly regulated industries
  • Experience with Databricks, Power BI, and modern data platforms
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
