Own end-to-end ML systems: scoping, feature engineering, model development, deployment, monitoring
Build production-safe evaluation infrastructure with automated backtests and uncertainty quantification
Develop AI-assisted/agentic workflows using Claude Code with rigorous quality gates
Define success metrics tied to business outcomes and communicate risks
Write production-quality, testable code and enable reproducible workflows
Partner with operations, supply chain, inventory, finance, and marketing leaders
Build and improve forecasts across time horizons and business segments
Productize forecast outputs with versioned releases and clear reporting
Apply feature engineering, uncertainty quantification, and hierarchical forecasting
Translate business needs into a prioritized technical roadmap

5+ years in applied ML/data science including owning models in production
Strong forecasting expertise: time-series methods, feature engineering, rigorous backtesting
Strong Python (or R) and SQL; writes production-quality, testable code
Strong statistics fundamentals and comfort with probabilistic forecasting
Experience using AI-assisted development workflows responsibly
Strong communication and collaboration with non-technical stakeholders
Deep expertise in Bayesian statistical methods and probabilistic programming (alternative)
Staff level: 8+ years or PhD with 3+ years, end-to-end ML systems, technical leadership
