Role Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to manage our SQL Server-based apps. You'll troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and collaborate with devs to improve app stability. CS degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities

*Support*

L2/L3 support for SQL Server apps, resolve tickets, identify root cause

*SQL Expertise*

Write/optimize queries, stored procs, performance tuning

*Monitoring*

Set up alerts, ensure uptime, performance monitoring

*Collaboration*

Work with devs, PMs to improve app health

*Docs*

Maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides

*User Support*

Help users with app issues, train on best practices

Requirements

• 4+ years app support/SQL Server experience
• Strong SQL writing + optimization skills
• Understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking basics
• Problem-solving, communication skills
• CS/IT degree or relevant experience

Skills

Certifications

Microsoft SQL Server, ITIL

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Python/scripting for automation
