Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Beats data shippers and host collectors in Go
Develop and maintain security integration packages for third-party sources
Build robust API-based collection against cloud providers and external vendors
Improve reliability, performance, and observability of data collection at scale
Review community and partner contributions to open-source repositories
Mentor engineers and set technical direction across the ingestion surface
Collaborate with product and security research teams to prioritize sources
Apply LLMs and AI automation to accelerate integration development
Build internal AI-assisted tooling to reduce engineering toil

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience in production backend or data systems
Solid proficiency in Go or robust systems-language experience
Experience integrating with third-party and cloud APIs
Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and structured data modeling
Experience with agent-based or host-level data collection
Comfort operating in large open-source codebases
Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants
