Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing reliable, scalable, and secure data pipelines, data products, and cloud-based analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure, and related technologies. This role partners closely with architects, analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that enable enterprise decision-making and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines and data products.
  • Build scalable ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions for structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and optimize data models, lakehouses, warehouses, and analytics datasets.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise data platforms.
  • Support and administer Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure Data Services, and Power BI environments.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, data quality, security, and platform scalability.
  • Monitor and improve platform performance, utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
  • Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools to streamline data platform operations.
  • Promote DataOps and engineering best practices across teams.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of data and platform issues.
  • Maintain operational standards for reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Partner with Data Architects, Analytics teams, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and engineering excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and process optimization.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Azure, CI/CD, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Proven experience developing enterprise-scale analytics and data solutions.
