Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide full-stack application support
  • Set technical direction across the entire stack
  • Mentor engineers
  • Guide technical decisions
  • Shape how the team builds
  • Configure and maintain AWS services
  • Build and manage Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines
  • Write Linux utility scripts
  • Develop and maintain applications in C#, T-SQL, Vue, HTML, and CSS
  • Troubleshoot issues across the full stack
  • Build and maintain core application services
  • Customize and support platform-integrated applications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between internal systems and external platforms
  • Manage Git-based source control workflows
  • Work with SQL Server and T-SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and supporting application data
  • Support MongoDB/DocumentDB document storage
  • Design and support event-based, message-driven architecture
  • Apply AI-assisted development tools to coding, debugging, documentation, and PR workflows
  • Review, validate, and govern AI-generated code and infrastructure-as-code
  • Evaluate emerging AI productivity tools and recommend adoption
  • Adapt deployment processes and engineering practices
  • Mentor and guide engineers across the stack
  • Raise the bar on code quality, architecture, and operational practices
  • Lead technical decisions
  • Provide hands-on guidance on complex, cross-cutting problems
  • Partner with engineering leadership to set technical direction
  • Plan coordinated releases
  • Onboard and grow team members

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering
  • Hands-on AWS infrastructure management (VPCs, EC2, Kubernetes, load balancers, and network security controls such as firewalls, WAF, and network ACLs)
  • Strong full-stack development skills in C# and T-SQL
  • Hands-on experience building services with ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM
  • Supporting experience in Vue, HTML, and CSS
  • Ability to troubleshoot across UI, API, database, messaging, and deployment layers
  • Proven CI/CD experience with Jenkins
  • Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes operations (kubectl, YAML deployment configs)
  • Linux scripting for operational tasks
  • Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB/DocumentDB
  • Experience with event-based, message-driven systems (MassTransit, Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, or Apache MQ)
  • Proficiency with Git-based source control workflows (GitHub or GitLab)
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical decisions

Preferred

  • Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Devin) to accelerate development and improve code quality in daily engineering workflows
  • Familiarity with CMS and identity platforms such as Umbraco and Identity Server
  • Experience supporting complex distributed applications from development through deployment and production troubleshooting
