Define, develop, and document software business requirements and specifications
Design, develop, document, and implement new applications and enhancements
Write, translate, and code software programs according to specifications
Modify programming scripts to enhance functionality or performance
Design, run, and monitor software performance tests and debugging
Generate statistics and write reports on programming process status
Train end users to operate new or modified programs
Utilize Unix/Linux shell scripting, Informatica/Talend, C#, .NET, React, AWS, CDK, Oracle, Telerik, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio/TFS
Provide on-call availability and some travel as required

College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering, or 6 years equivalent experience
Minimum two years of experience
Experience with C++/Linux/Oracle
Experience interviewing end-users for functionality and usability insights
Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps
Experience building cloud-native applications in AWS
Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
Working knowledge of source control tools such as TFS and GitHub
Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Experience with cloud-first, API-first and microservice architecture or strategies
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Healthcare industry practices and HIPAA knowledge
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
