Team Lead / Client-Facing

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AI/GenAI to join our team and build innovative, production-ready AI solutions.

This role goes beyond writing code. You will lead technical conversations with clients, drive solution discovery, guide a small engineering team, and take ownership of delivery.

We are looking for someone who combines strong software engineering and AI expertise with leadership, business understanding, and strong client-facing communication.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & AI Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered solutions using LLMs, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from requirements and architecture through development and deployment.
• Build scalable applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Evaluate and integrate AI models, frameworks, APIs, and cloud AI services.
• Design AI agents, workflows, integrations, and intelligent automation.
• Make independent technical decisions and proactively solve complex problems.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security, performance, and AI reliability.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and provide technical direction.
• Review code and guide architectural and technical decisions.
• Support sprint planning, delivery decisions, and technical retrospectives.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and the development of engineers.
• Set strong engineering and AI delivery standards within the team.

Client Engagement & Sales Engineering

• Lead client discovery calls, technical discussions, solution presentations, and demos.
• Translate business challenges into practical technical and AI solutions.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales, scoping, proposals, and solution design.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future solutions and growth.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them.
• Introduce relevant tools, frameworks, and best practices to the team and client projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including senior or lead-level experience.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong hands-on experience building AI/GenAI solutions in real-world projects.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, embeddings, vector databases, and AI integrations.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React.js.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of software architecture, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Previous client-facing and/or pre-sales experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating in English with international clients, both verbally and in writing.
