Assist in development of web-based applications, services, and websites
Formulate strategies and plans for enhancements to GSSJC web sites and/or applications
Communicate with colleagues, programmer(s) and/or vendors to build dynamic applications/sites
Develop new technologies and web applications

Working toward a degree or certification in programming or a college graduate with technical degree focused in programming
Entry level position, proof of interest and some experience and an entry level proficiency in programming
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
General knowledge of business systems and technology platforms
Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Online resource and knowledge sharing tools
Ability to work from home, as needed, to include secure high speed internet access

Accessibility to a non-distracting and uninterrupted space with adequate lighting and ergonomically adequate workspace is preferred

Skills
