Responsibilities

Develop end to end features
Write clean, secure, readable, scalable code
Integrate and build for external and internal APIs
Develop new products in Python
Alter existing Python code
Write and optimize SQL queries
Design schemas
Create and code complex backend algorithms
Profile and optimize new and legacy code
Complete functionality of new products using CSS and Typescript
Think cross-device and cross-platform
Ship often and fast
Care about product, mission, and success

Requirements

5+ years of experience in web development
3+ years of experience in SQL
Design relational DB schemas
Write complex queries
Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles
Demonstrable full-stack project with front-end, back-end, and database code
Ability to design, develop and launch a web application from start to finish
Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills independently
Get-things-done attitude
Familiar with web & SQL security best practices
Comfortable working outside of a framework
Experience using git in a team environment
Ability to work in the US
Ability to travel to San Jose, California offices up to three times per year

Preferred

Work or internship experience in startups
Experience with python
Experience with react
