Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a technical roadmap for a reliable, scalable trading platform
  • Lead the technical initiative to deliver a low latency interface for experienced traders
  • Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers
  • Anchor complex projects and ensure high standards for code quality and system design

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience within modern front-end frameworks
  • Experience within mobile environments
  • Proven track record of optimizing complex systems

  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Experience mentoring senior engineers
  • Experience driving organizational improvements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans for stakeholders

  • Gone through a rapid growth in your company (from 10 to 100s of engineers)
  • Experience building a low latency trading system
  • Experience with Blockchains (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc.)
  • Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices
  • Worked with Golang
  • Worked with Ruby
  • Worked with Docker
  • Worked with Sinatra
  • Worked with Rails
  • Worked with Postgres
  • Crypto-forward experience
  • Familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses
