Position Overview

Power your future with Qualus as a Smartsheet Developer who designs, develops, and maintains business systems, workflows, automations, and reporting solutions that support client and internal operational needs. While this role currently focuses on the development and administration of enterprise Smartsheet solutions, it also supports broader business technology initiatives involving process automation, system integrations, data management, reporting, and emerging digital tools.

This role serves as a technical resource for project teams and clients, translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong Smartsheet expertise with the ability to leverage automation platforms, scripting languages, and connected applications to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Smartsheet solutions, including interconnected sheets, dashboards, reports, forms, workflows, and automations.
  • Partner with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, document processes, and develop effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Smartsheet and other business systems using available APIs, connectors, automation platforms, and custom solutions.
  • Build process automations using tools such as Make, Power Automate, Python, or similar technologies to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Design and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions that provide actionable business insights.
  • Evaluate business processes and recommend system improvements to enhance scalability, usability, maintainability, and long-term value.
  • Support data management, governance, and quality initiatives across multiple projects and business applications.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, workflow failures, integration challenges, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Document solution architecture, business rules, workflows, integrations, and support procedures.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend new tools, platforms, or automation opportunities that support business and client objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing business systems, workflow solutions, reporting solutions, or process automations.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining complex Smartsheet environments.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a client-facing environment.
