A fast-growing B2B SaaS company operating in the property management space is rethinking how software gets built from the ground up. This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity for a Staff AI Engineer to join a small, high-velocity team that is using AI-native development workflows and agentic coding tools to transform the software development lifecycle. This role is open to candidates anywhere in the US.
This team heavily utilizes and builds with AI tools. If you are an engineer who has already made AI coding agents a core part of how you work every single day, this role was designed for you. You will own full experiment loops from hypothesis to shipped product, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and help define what the future of software engineering looks like in practice. This is a rare opportunity to be on the ground floor of something genuinely new, at a company that is growing fast and giving its engineers the space to do their best work.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as a staff-level engineer with deep experience in software architecture and product development workflows
- Genuine enthusiasm for and hands-on experience with AI coding agents integrated into daily development and debugging processes
- Strong system design instincts combined with a pragmatic approach, comfortable building quickly in ambiguous environments
- Deep practical experience with modern engineering workflows including CI/CD pipelines, pull requests, debugging, alerting, and deployment strategies
- Demonstrated history of rapid prototyping, running learning loops, and taking ambiguous problem spaces to functional shipped products
- Ability to operate with high autonomy, raise blockers proactively, and maintain momentum without step-by-step direction
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with workflow orchestration and sandboxed execution environments for AI agents
- Familiarity with AI coding platforms such as Claude Code, Gemini, or similar tools
- Background in building and maintaining opinionated codebases with solid abstractions optimized for AI-assisted development
- Experience driving end-to-end experimentation loops including hypothesis, build, measure, and iteration cycles
