The Role

We are looking for a Technology Program Manager who can drive complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from problem definition to execution and delivery.

This is not a traditional Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager role.

You will work in an environment where requirements evolve, priorities change, teams may not be co-located, and there isn't always a well-defined process or single owner for every dependency.

Your job will be to bring clarity, structure and momentum to these situations.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Operations and external technology partners to ensure that complex initiatives move forward and eventually reach production.

What You Will Do

  • Drive end-to-end technology programs — translate high-level objectives into clear plans, milestones, dependencies and execution paths.
  • Navigate complex technical dependencies across multiple engineering teams, services, platforms and third-party systems.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to understand architecture, APIs, data flows, system dependencies and technical constraints well enough to identify execution risks early.
  • Identify the critical path for programs and continuously remove blockers that could impact delivery.
  • Coordinate execution across distributed and non-co-located teams, ensuring alignment without relying purely on formal processes.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous problems — figure out what needs to happen, who needs to be involved and how we get from where we are today to the desired outcome.
  • Identify risks, dependencies and decisions proactively rather than waiting for issues to surface.
  • Facilitate discussions between teams when there are conflicting priorities, unclear ownership or competing technical approaches.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to convert product/business objectives into executable technology plans.
  • Maintain program visibility for leadership — what is on track, what is blocked, why it is blocked and what decisions are required.
  • Manage execution across multiple parallel workstreams without becoming a task tracker.
  • Work with external vendors/partners where technology integration or operational dependencies are involved.
  • Establish lightweight processes where needed — but avoid adding process for the sake of process.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Operations, Engineering Program Management, Technology Consulting or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development and technology systems. You don't need to be a coder, but you should be comfortable discussing APIs, databases, services, integrations, data flows, releases and system dependencies with engineers.
  • Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple teams.
  • Strong ability to understand technical dependencies and identify risks before they become delivery problems.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, changing priorities and incomplete information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly across teams with different priorities.
  • Ability to operate effectively with distributed / geographically dispersed engineering teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset — you see a problem through to resolution rather than simply escalating it.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate in a high-paced startup environment where processes are evolving continuously.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a consumer internet, marketplace, OTA, fintech, mobility or other high-scale technology environment.
  • Experience working with microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure or data platforms.
  • Engineering / Computer Science background.
  • Experience working with external technology vendors or partners.
  • Experience managing programs involving multiple engineering teams and complex integrations.
  • Experience in an environment where Product and Engineering operate with high autonomy and lightweight processes.

What Success Looks Like

After 6 months, you should be the person teams rely on to answer:

  • What exactly are we trying to deliver?
  • Which teams and systems are involved?
  • What are the critical dependencies?
  • What is blocking us?
  • Who needs to make a decision?
  • What can derail the program?
  • What needs to happen next?

You don't need to create more meetings or more status reports.

You need to make complex things happen.

Candidates are responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
