Software Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to support a government entity. This position is fully remote within the United States. The Software Developer will design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications utilizing the MEAN stack and RESTful services. Join a team delivering innovative software solutions that directly support critical government operations and national security initiatives.

Responsibilities for the Software Developer include

• Design, develop, maintain, test, document, and deploy high-quality software applications and web-based solutions
• Develop and support RESTful web services and enterprise application integrations
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex software defects and technical challenges in a timely manner
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams regarding application design, functionality, and usage
• Mentor peers, maintain software libraries, and evaluate emerging technologies to improve development processes

Required Qualifications for the Software Developer include

• 5-7 years of experience designing and developing web-based software solutions
• Experience with the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js)
• Experience developing RESTful web services and solving complex technical challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a U.S.-based institution
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Compensation for the Software Developer include

Salary Range

$100,000 - $135,000 depending on experience
