Front End Web Developer Freelance Opportunity

We are currently looking for freelance HTML/CSS front end developers who can create very high quality code. There may be opportunities to turn this into a full time position or regular guaranteed contract work.

The skills we require are

• Excellent HTML/CSS coding ability (ability to handcode fully accessible XHTML with valid CSS2 and CSS3)
• Knowledge of JavaScript / JQuery (able to implement JQuery to a website design)
• Good knowledge of English

And any of the following would be preferable but not essential:

• Ability to use graphic packages such as Adobe Fireworks
• An understanding of PHP / MySQL development (able to edit existing code)
• Knowledge of Magento / Joomla / ecommerce applications
• Good knowledge of other languages (especially Arabic, Russian, German, Spanish)

Job Location? We have offices in East Kent, Cornwall (Truro), Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. But location is not important for this role.

Front End Web Developer Jobs

Due to an expanding volume of work we have a current vacancy for a web developer who can create very high quality code.

This will be located for the first one-three months in Canterbury, East Kent, but opportunity to work from elsewhere after that. This role is partially home based. After the initial training period there are regular training and team meetings in Canterbury, frequency depending on location.

The skills we require are

• Excellent HTML/CSS coding ability (ability to handcode fully accessible XHTML with valid CSS2 and CSS3)
• Understanding of PHP / MySQL development (able to edit existing code)
• Knowledge of JavaScript / JQuery (able to implement JQuery to a website design)
• Good knowledge of English

And any of the following would be preferable but not essential:

Salary is dependent on experience. Higher salaries for those able to turn more complex designs into accessible XHTML/CSS code quickly and accurately.

Job Location? We have offices in Canterbury, East Kent, Cornwall (Truro), Wiltshire and Oxfordshire. After the initial training period the work is primarily home based; staff in the South East meet at least weekly in Kent. Staff located in Cornwall, or other areas of the South West, or Southern England meet less often in Kent or other locations such as Swindon or Reading.
