Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java AWS Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, microservices architecture, cloud services, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance, and highly available enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy microservices on AWS.
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using AWS services.
• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda where applicable.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability.
• Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement security best practices using AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, and encryption.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or Amazon SQS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with Redis or Amazon ElastiCache.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
