Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain back-end systems
  • Support production issues and deployments
  • Build UI components
  • Work with messaging and monitoring tools
  • Collaborate with senior manager and developers
  • Gather requirements with business team

Requirements

  • 8+ years designing, developing, deploying large-scale applications with complex integrations
  • Experience with Java and/or Python
  • Experience developing and consuming Web Services and APIs
  • 4+ years with data technologies: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch
  • Ability to write, read, and execute SQL scripts
  • 2+ years with front-end technologies: Angular, React, JavaScript
  • 4.3+ years with CI/CD and build automation: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins
  • 3+ years with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure or GCP, and Kubernetes
  • 3+ years with test automation including SRE and synthetic monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

  • Previous experience in mortgage capital markets
  • Experience with job scheduling tools: CRON, Tidal, or Airflow
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace
  • Experience in Agile environment with TDD understanding
