Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs and batch/stream data pipelines in a healthcare data environment.
Develop and optimize calculation/risk engines that process large volumes of claims and clinical data.
Write well-tested, production-grade code and participate in code reviews, CI/CD and on-call rotation.
Partner with product and data teams to translate requirements into reliable, performant services.

Requirements

8+ years of experience
Python
SQL
AWS
Strong production experience building services and data pipelines
Relational database design and query optimization
Deploying and operating workloads on AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3)
Experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, Airflow, dbt or similar)
Healthcare / claims / EHR data exposure
Microservices, event-driven architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
