Responsibilities

Own monitoring and maintenance of database systems
Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes
Manage database alerts, errors, and system health
Execute IT requests and production tasks
Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing
Design and improve stored procedures, tables, and views
Analyze and improve performance using Query Store and Azure SQL features
Maintain and automate operational processes
Design and deploy Azure-based solutions
Contribute to database architecture improvements
Use AI-assisted tools for productivity

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience working with database technologies
Strong T-SQL skills
Experience with stored procedures, tables, and views
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Azure SQL DB
Experience with query performance tuning
Experience with database optimization
Familiarity with Azure Functions
Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps
Familiarity with Azure Automation
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred

Experience with C# or VB.NET
