Responsibilities

  • Refine, code, test and deploy own work in immutable containers
  • Transfer knowledge to the customer through presentations, workshops, documentation writing
  • Set new standards in technology practices
  • Be a sparring partner for business colleagues

Requirements

  • Proven track record and skill in software development, backend or frontend
  • Deep knowledge of backend and frontend development
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Maven
  • Experience with HTML5 / CSS3 (LESS/SCSS/SASS) / JavaScript(ES6) / Angular / ReactJS / ReduxJS / NextJS / VueJS / ReactNative/Web Components
  • Experience and solid knowledge of (test) automation with Cucumber
  • Experience with continuous delivery, deployment tools and pipelines
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Helm, Kubernetes on OpenShift
  • Experience with immutable containers in cloud environments
  • Self-motivation for solving technical and functional challenges
  • Great analytical skills and conceptual/architectural understanding
  • Ability to quickly grasp new engineering concepts
  • Strong interest and vision in recent trends in software development and technology
  • Strong social and communication skills
  • At least 3 years of development experience in Java
  • HBO-degree working and thinking level
  • OCA certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Java 11 and J2EE
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Spring Boot and/or Hibernate
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with VueJS / React / Angular / JavaScript
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Microservices and CI/CD
  • Relevant work experience with REST and SOAP
  • Knowledge and experience with Eclipse IDE and IntelliJ IDEA
  • Knowledge and experience with Maven, JBoss, Jenkins, Sonar, Selenium, Elastic Search
  • Knowledge and experience with Unit testing: JUnit / Mockito
  • Knowledge and experience with MQ (3 years)
  • Knowledge and experience with XML/XSD/WSDL/SOAP
  • Knowledge and experience with REST
  • Knowledge and experience with Json/YAML
  • Knowledge and experience with GitHub and GitLab
  • Knowledge and experience with Postman
  • Knowledge and experience with Apache Kafka
  • Knowledge and experience with Docker
  • Knowledge and experience with AWS/Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and experience with DevOps and Graph databases
  • Experience with deployment on application servers like Tomcat and JBoss in corporate environments
  • Fluent Dutch and English in word and writing
