About the position

The Full-Stack Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and APIs using Microsoft Azure. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and reliability. Key skills include proficiency in Angular, C#, ASP.NET, relational databases, and implementing best practices for code quality and security.

Job Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with strong programming fundamentals.
  • 4–6 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Angular (20+) and/or other modern front-end frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Razor Pages, React, Vue.js).
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong experience in backend development using .NET Core 8 (Web APIs) and Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience in consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience implementing security best practices in web development.
  • Strong understanding and application of design patterns and best practices (e.g., MVC, REST, SOLID principles, DDD) to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with unit testing in Angular.
  • Optional: Exposure to Ansible.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with reporting tool like Power BI.
  • Should have knowledge for AI assisted Development Claude Code Sonnet.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js / Angular / Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.
