As a Software Engineer at Gem, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to ship impactful features, solve real customer problems, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team stand-ups
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code
• Learn and grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduating in 2025)
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go)
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Points

• Internship or project experience in web development or SaaS
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Interest in recruitment technology or building AI-powered tools
