We are Kaizen Gaming
Kaizen Gaming, the team powering Betano, is one of the biggest GameTech companies in the world, operating in 20 markets. We always aim to leverage cutting-edge technology, providing the best experience to our millions of customers who trust us for their entertainment.
We are a diverse team of more than 2.700 Kaizeners, from 40+ nationalities spreading across 3 continents.
Our #oneteam is proud to be among the Best Workplaces in Europe and certified Great Place to Work across our offices. Here, there’ll be no average day for you. Ready to Press Play on Potential?
As Head of Product for the Account & Regulation division, you will own the product vision and 12-month strategy for one of the most business-critical and complex areas of Kaizen Gaming. The division builds and operates in-house platforms and backend applications spanning Customers, Payments, Responsible Gaming, Anti-Money Laundering and Regulatory Reporting that underpin our operations and indirectly shape the customer experience through the teams and systems they enable. You will lead the product function across these platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and compliance across every market in which we operate.
This is a senior leadership role and a member of the company’s Management Team. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will lead a team of 4–8 product professionals directly and approximately 40 people indirectly, acting as a business enabler who bridges Commercial, Product, Compliance, Legal, Technology and Operational perspectives to deliver the best outcomes for the company and the teams that rely on our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Product strategy for platforms — Define the 12-month product strategy for the vertical, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader product vision and linking each function’s strategy to operational and business needs.
- Business roadmap planning & prioritization — Partner with stakeholders and Heads of Technology to ensure 3-month product readiness in platforms (scoping/discovery). Act as the primary product point of contact within your domain and influence the business roadmap before finalization.
- Operational excellence — Monitor the overall performance of relevant functions, maintaining a holistic view across product and operations, from the perspective of the in-house platforms and backend applications serving Customers, Payments, Responsible Gaming, Anti-Money Laundering and Regulatory Reporting.
Leadership & People
- Organizational leadership & health — Lead and manage 4–8 people directly and approximately 40 indirectly. Drive a product- and quality-centric culture by normalizing standards and processes, monitoring and improving product metrics, and ensuring product quality, delivery and knowledge continuity through succession planning.
- Staffing & resource planning — Prioritize business needs and mitigate risks through active hiring, while building and empowering high-performing product professionals. Proactively identify flight risks and partner with other Heads of Product to create internal mobility opportunities that help retain talent at company level.
- Management mentorship — Mentor Product Managers and focus on building the leadership capabilities of the management layer within the vertical.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Stakeholder & peer management — Act as a business enabler, managing complex dependencies across departments and bridging their perspectives (Commercial, Product, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Operational) to deliver the best platform strategy for the company and the teams we serve. Negotiate product dependencies across departments to reduce organizational complexity and take cross-departmental initiatives to improve ways of working, time-to-market and efficiency.
- Partners & regulators management — Manage the network of vendors and partners linked to the division’s platforms. Create and decide the product strategy in line with regulatory requirements, influence regulators, and negotiate with authorities on the features and functionalities operators must implement. Act as the safeguard of our licenses across all markets in which we operate.
Financial Stewardship
- Vertical budget ownership — Manage and be responsible, together with the Director of Technology, for the Revenue, OPEX and CAPEX related to the vertical-specific budget, including the outsourced regulatory reporting team. Be accountable for part of the vertical’s discretionary budget (training, tooling, bonding).
Decision Making
In this role you will
- Define, together with the Director of Technology, the product strategy for the platforms.
- Decide, together with stakeholders, the prioritization of projects, features and implementations.
- Own the experience of our platforms for the internal teams and operations that depend on them.
- Select external providers, tools and platforms to be integrated with our systems.
- You will operate under general direction and within broadly defined policy objectives, setting annual objectives and contributing to longer-term functional and business strategy.
What We’re Looking For

- MBA or MSc (or equivalent advanced degree).
- Proven experience in Product Management, with relevant certifications.
- Track record of product leadership in complex, regulated and/or platform environments.

- Comfortable using AI tools and assistants as part of daily workflows to accelerate research, documentation, analysis and product work.

- Strategic problem-solver comfortable tackling constantly variable, heavily analytical and adaptive challenges requiring both critical and creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to shape strategic business decisions across senior internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and external providers.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, able to bridge Commercial, Product, Compliance, Legal, Technology and Operational perspectives.
- Platform- and quality-focused, with a strong sense of accountability for the reliability, delivery and outcomes of in-house systems.
- An AI-first mindset, actively adopting and championing AI tools and assistants in everyday work, encouraging teams to embed AI into product discovery, delivery and decision-making, and continuously exploring how AI can improve quality, efficiency and time-to-market.
