Senior Data Engineer

The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a top DC law firm. The Engineer plays a critical role in developing and upkeeping data pipelines and infrastructures that ultimately foster the Firm's reporting platforms. This is a great opportunity for a data wizard with at least 5 years of data engineering experience who is interested in contributing to the legal industry!

Responsibilities Include

• Develop and implement data pipelines across multiple environments and systems
• Partner closely with teams to translate data needs into technical solutions
• Maintain data quality and compliance while continuously refining data workflows
• Automate various data pipelines by utilizing CI/CD and orchestration tools
• Serve as a mentor to junior engineers

Qualifications Include

• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems
• Relevant technical certifications preferred
• 5+ years of data engineering experience, legal or professional services exp. preferred
• Highly adept in SQL, data warehousing, and performance tuning
• Competency with ETL tools, cloud data platforms, and Python or similar languages
• Strong communication & relationship-building skills

Compensation

• $126,000 - $202,000 annually

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
