Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and platforms
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
- Determine feasibility of solutions design
- Prepare technical design documentation
- Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems
- Write and review high quality code
- Perform unit and/or automation testing
- Develop and deploy application components
- Support unit testing and bug fixes
- Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD
- Support applications, systems, and databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior team members
- Lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- Five (5) years of experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps
- Five (5) years of experience programming in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Five (5) years of experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Five (5) years of experience with cloud components including cluster management
- Five (5) years of experience with Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles
- Five (5) years of experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Five (5) years of experience with JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
- Five (5) years of experience with software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
- Five (5) years of experience writing application code and deploying to production
- Five (5) years of experience developing backend services
- Five (5) years of experience performing code reviews
- Five (5) years of experience collaborating with peers on software development solutions
- Five (5) years of experience with Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
