Develop features on a green-field opportunity to modernize scheduling, queueing, backpressure, consistency, caching, fault tolerance, and observability across CI platform infrastructure components
Design and build key pieces of the new platform
Experiment with and prototype new features in a remote sandbox development environment
Debug workflow orchestration queueing delays
Measure performance of remote execution/cache infrastructure
Identify root causes of infrastructure-related reasons for test flakiness
Optimize the speed of autoscaling CI workers
Up-level the observability and alerting of the CI platform
Build an improved canarying mechanism for iterative and safe rollout of workflow orchestration changes

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
Interest in working on distributed systems engineering and optimization problems
General knowledge of k8s
General knowledge of EC2
General knowledge of Golang
General knowledge of Docker
Metrics-driven approach to decision-making
Interest in delivering quantifiable impact

Skills
