This is a remote position.

Job Description

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing. This role requires a strong understanding of both legacy and modern technologies, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions across the stack.
• Maintain and improve legacy systems using .NET Framework and AngularJS.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using .NET and web technologies (SOAP, REST, XML).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation.
• Perform unit testing and software quality assurance.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects with high-quality results.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software development with service-oriented architecture.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.8) using C#, VB, ASP.NET.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022.
• Experience with relational database development using MS SQL.
• Familiarity with AngularJS (legacy systems).
• Web technologies: HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, VBScript, Ajax, ActiveX.
• Experience with SOAP and REST services.
• Knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services).
• Experience with ASP and JScript.
• Familiarity with Software Factory concepts.
• Team Foundation Server and version control systems.
• Understanding of distributed architectures and internet-based systems.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.

Ability to mentor peers and support end-users effectively.
