Responsibilities

• Assist to releases for production and testing environments
• Experience in ecommerce background will be an added advantage
• Use project management software(JIRA) and Code repository(Git) to track releases
• Assist to perform root cause analysis for server errors
• Assist to Investigate and fix issues with infrastructures
• Set-up and monitor alerts for core services
• Leverage AI-powered tools and AI assistants to enhance day-to-day DevOps tasks, including CI/CD support, infrastructure management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Work with dev team and operations team to ensure proper training is conducted for releases · Write basic scripts to fetch data for internal use
• In-house IT admin support for the tech team.

Shift: 9.00am - 6.00pm

Location: Battaramulla (On-Site)

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience
• Expertise in cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools. (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar) and an eagerness to use them to support development and DevOps workflows.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting web hosting environments.
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security permissions.
• Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting (MySQL, MongoDB etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
