Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models, schemas, and standards
- Define data flows and integration patterns between systems, including Snowflake
- Oversee logical and physical database design for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with DBAs on optimization, capacity planning, and Snowflake performance management
- Establish data quality, security, and compliance standards
- Implement metadata management and maintain a data dictionary
- Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data warehousing and analytics
- Ensure interoperability between on-prem and cloud systems
- Translate requirements into data solutions with business analysts and developers
- Ensure data architecture meets performance SLAs and security requirements
- Implement encryption, access controls, and audit mechanisms
- Evaluate emerging technologies for adoption
- Recommend improvements to existing data architecture
Requirements
- 5 years experience in data architecture, database design, and data modeling
- 5 years experience with SQL Server/Oracle or similar RDBMS
- 5 years experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- 5 years experience with ETL tools, APIs, and integration frameworks
- 5 years expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
- Must live in Ohio
