Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain web/mobile and backend services
- Mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams
- Translate business requirements and user interface designs into robust code components
- Convert product requirements into detailed solution designs
- Implement, test, deliver, and maintain solutions
- Ensure comprehensive documentation
- Independently triage and resolve errors and defects
- Assess technical feasibility and estimate feature complexity
- Conduct user interface, design, and code reviews
- Advocate for and promote best practices and standards
- Work closely with team lead, product owner, business analysts, UX designers, architecture, quality teams
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and potential new product features
- Contribute to the reduction of technical debt
- Measure the success of delivered features
- Serve as the primary point of contact for specific product areas
- Maintain general awareness of other areas
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Complete administrative tasks punctually
- Support the company’s goals and values
- Participate in disaster recovery planning
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues
- Treat everyone with respect and consideration
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned
- Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js, React, Angular, etc.)
- Strong understanding and application of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and coding standards
- Ability to refactor codebase to improve readability, performance, and maintainability
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Experience designing and building microservices architecture
- Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Proficiency with ORM technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiar with Agile methodology
Preferred
- Advanced degree or certification related to field
- Experience developing modern frontend apps using React framework
- Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Excellent presentation skills for communicating both business-oriented solutions and advanced technical concepts
- Experience in the FinTech space
- Been part of product journey from discovery to delivery
