🚀 Project Overview

You will join the engineering squad behind "Hiring Events", a live, high-traffic SaaS production platform that enables global enterprises to host virtual and on-site recruitment tracks, career fairs, and immediate candidate interviews.

Because this platform operates in real-time, production glitches directly impact active client events and user experiences. As a Senior QC Engineer, you won’t just test features quietly in a sandbox; you will act as a vital triage unit alongside support staff to debug unexpected system misconfigurations, validate dependencies, and protect high client satisfaction ratings. This is a fast-moving, highly visible role that bridges client-facing Go-To-Market teams and core engineering, translating urgent production anomalies into well-documented, reproducible tickets for immediate resolution.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Quality Ownership: Own the manual verification of complex, end-to-end user workflows and business requirements for a live, high-traffic SaaS platform.
• Production Triage & Incident Support: Act as a critical line of defense during live events, collaborating with support teams to rapidly reproduce, debug, and diagnose unexpected system anomalies and misconfigurations.
• Cross-Functional Translation: Bridge the gap between non-technical client teams and core engineering by translating complex production bugs into detailed, reproducible engineering tickets.
• Backend & API Validation: Perform deep backend data verification and execute REST API validations to ensure robust integrations and data integrity.
• Test Strategy & Mapping: Analyze ambiguous product requirements and naturally translate them into exhaustive test scenarios, validation maps, and comprehensive test cases.

💡 Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of software testing experience with a strong, proven focus on manual verification of end-to-end user journeys in complex web applications.
• Deep hands-on proficiency with Postman for executing REST API validations and checking backend integrations.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data verification, querying, and comprehensive database testing.
• Practical knowledge of WCAG standards and experience utilizing digital accessibility testing tools.
• Proven history working within Agile/Scrum environments, including active participation in sprint ceremonies and advanced tracking through Jira.
• Experience working in remote, distributed teams across LATAM.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily technical communication and cross-team collaboration.

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills

• Log Analysis: Experience reviewing system logs and performance health metrics using Datadog to trace production bugs.
• Asynchronous Architectures: Familiarity with validating event-driven or asynchronous workflows built on Kafka.
• NoSQL Databases: Exposure to verifying backend data within MongoDB environments.
• CI/CD Awareness: A general understanding of automated continuous integration/deployment loops and global release validation strategies.

🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration

The role requires collaboration with teams aligned to EST. Flexibility to overlap a minimum of 6 hours with the core US team is expected to ensure smooth coordination during live production events.
