The Technical Lead plays a crucial role within the Center of Expertise Application Development & Maintenance (COE ADM). This position focuses on creating and documenting development guidelines and best practices, ensuring their adoption and implementation across the client's landscape with first focus on the Benelux IT Delivery Factory.

This role involves supporting developers, providing coaching and mentoring, and facilitating effective communication with both IT and non-IT stakeholders. Additionally, the Technical Lead contributes to IT4IT projects managed directly within the CoE.

The Technical Lead will also facilitate and animate the Benelux developers' Community of Practice (CoP).

Key responsibilities

  • Establishing and documenting guidelines and best practices for development.
  • Ensuring buy-in and follow-up on the implementation of guidelines in the agile tribes.
  • Supporting developers in the tribes, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Collaboration with other technical leaders (analysis, testing, process, ...) to ensure a transversal alignment to cover mutual requirements.
  • IT stakeholders management: Engaging with local IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication (Architecture, Infrastructure, Risk & Security,...).
  • Act as local ambassador for The Client's initiatives and requirements in the scope of development (AI for developers, security champions,...).
  • Act as a representant of CoE ADM team in the Change Management Board (CAB) to validate the change requests.
  • Reporting to the Head of COE ADM with close collaboration with the IT Tribe Leads.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate should possess strong software engineering skills, including UML, architecture, infrastructure, and SDLC, along with a robust security mindset. Autonomy, DevOps expertise, and cloud knowledge are highly valued in this role.

Technical experience (at least 5 years of relevant experience):
