Java Developer – Team Lead

We’re seeking a hands-on Java Developer – Team Lead to guide a team building scalable healthcare applications used by patients and providers. This role blends technical leadership with active development, focusing on modern microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions. This is a 100% remote position.

What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers

Design and build scalable web and mobile applications

Contribute hands-on across architecture and development

Drive code quality through reviews and best practices

Optimize performance using caching and monitoring tools

Champion unit testing, dependency injection, and AI-driven dev tools

Partner cross-functionally to deliver Agile initiatives

What You Bring

7+ years of Java development experience

3+ years in a technical leadership role

SaaS experience is required

Strong experience with

Java (8/17/21) & Angular

Spring Boot & Microservices

REST APIs

MySQL & Redis

AWS

Familiarity with security & compliance (HIPAA/SOC2) and Healthcare technology experience

Experience leading Agile teams
