Role Description

Alteryx Developer

Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI Reporting tool. ETL specific for creating datasets (to be used by Tableau Data Extract for BI)

Write Complex SQL queries on multiple tables using complex joins in Vertica and Google cloud

Prepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows supporting BI reports

Perform end to end Data validation

Translate business requirements into specifications to deliver automation solutions using RPA, ML, Alteryx and Tableau solutions across different finance functions.

Provide technical assistance and cross training to team members and business teams with documentation of the solution.

Managing the post production support for automated assets.

Responsible for the data validation process including management of change requests, updates to rule logic and release management.

Alteryx designer core certification is good to have

Required Skills

2+ years of related experience with Alteryx

Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx such as Predictive, Parsing, and Transforms.

2+ years of work experience on similar tools which does data extraction and manipulation tool in Vertica and Google cloud.

2+ years writing SQL queries against any RDBMS with query optimization.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities

Good understanding of unit testing, software change management, and software release management

Good understanding of the star schema and data models in the existing data warehouse.

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Work Experience will be considered in lieu of a Degree
