About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep experience designing and building scalable, high-performance systems using .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, React, and cloud-native architectures. This role will play a key part in driving the technical direction for our modern eCommerce platform, helping to shape system architecture, streamline distributed workflows, and lead the development of robust, enterprise-grade solutions.
In addition to core full-stack responsibilities, this role will contribute to integrating AI-enabled capabilities such as personalization, intelligent search, recommendations, and automation into customer-facing and internal applications.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, data, and platform teams to deliver highly responsive, secure, and maintainable applications. We’re seeking someone who can operate both strategically and hands-on — someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve hard problems while also influencing long-term platform decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable full-stack applications using .NET / ASP.NET Core and React with TypeScript
- Define system architecture patterns for distributed systems, ensuring resilience, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with Kafka, Solace, or Azure Event Hub
- Integrate AI-powered capabilities such as personalization, recommendations, intelligent search, chat, or workflow automation using internal platforms or third-party AI/ML services
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data teams, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Champion best practices in code quality, CI/CD, automated testing, security, and performance optimization
- Guide junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Participate in architecture reviews, system design discussions, and capacity planning
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, and React / TypeScript in production systems
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native patterns
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities via APIs or platforms (e.g., recommendation engines, search relevance services, LLM-based APIs, or analytics models)
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems
- Strong knowledge of API design, security, identity management, and performance tuning
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Comfort working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural decision-making
